Export your family tree for backup or use in other software.
Export Formats
Choose the format that fits your needs:
- GEDCOM (.ged): Universal format for genealogy software (Unlimited plan)
- PDF: Print-ready family tree chart (Basic, Premium, Unlimited)
- JSON: Raw data export for developers (Unlimited plan)
How to Export
- Open the tree you want to export
- Click "Export" in tree settings
- Choose export format
- Select what to include
- Click "Export"
- Download when ready
What's Included
Your export includes:
- All people and relationships
- Dates and locations
- Notes and stories
- Sources and citations
Photos in Exports
- PDF exports include profile photos
- GEDCOM exports do not include photos (separate download)
- Use bulk download for all photos
