Sending Invitations
Collaborate with family members by inviting them to your tree.
How to Send Invitations
- Open the tree you want to share
- Click "Share" or "Collaborators"
- Click "Invite Collaborator"
- Enter their email address
- Choose their permission level (Viewer or Editor)
- Add a personal message (optional)
- Click "Send Invitation"
Permission Levels
- Viewer: Can view the tree but cannot make changes
- Editor: Can add, edit, and remove people and media
- Manager: Can also invite others and manage collaborators (Premium/Unlimited only)
Invitation Status
Track your invitations:
- Pending: Invitation sent but not yet accepted
- Accepted: Person is now collaborating
- Declined: Person declined the invitation
💡 Pro Tip: Resend invitations if they haven't been accepted after a few days - they may have missed the email!
