Removing People
Learn how to safely remove people from your family tree.
Before You Remove
Consider these alternatives first:
- Mark as "Living" to hide private information
- Disconnect relationships instead of deleting
- Move to a different tree if they don't belong
How to Remove Someone
- Click on the person you want to remove
- Click "Edit Profile"
- Scroll to bottom and click "Delete Person"
- Confirm the deletion
⚠️ Warning: Deleting is permanent! All photos, documents, and stories attached to this person will be removed.
What Happens After Deletion
- All relationships to this person are broken
- Photos and documents are removed
- Stories and notes are deleted
- Other family members remain intact
